Terms of use

These terms apply when you use this website or play our games, starting with Salpakan Tactics!, run by Dragon Scale (“we”). By playing or buying, you agree to them.

Your account

  • You must be 13 or older to make an account.
  • Keep your login to yourself. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
  • Choose a username that isn’t offensive and doesn’t pretend to be someone else.

Playing fair and being kind

Don’t cheat, exploit bugs, or use bots or modified clients. Don’t harass, threaten or abuse other players, and don’t post hateful, sexual or illegal content in chat, names or pictures. We may filter messages, remove content, and suspend or ban accounts that break these rules.

Matchmaking

Quick and ranked matches look for another player near your level. When few players are online, matchmaking may pair you with a computer-controlled opponent so you don’t wait long. Those matches count like any other.

Credits, items and purchases

  • Credits and powerups are earned by playing. They are never sold for money and have no cash value.
  • Cosmetic items (and No Ads in the Android app) are sold for real money: on this website for our web games, and through Google Play or Steam in those apps. They give you a licence to use the item in the game. You don’t own them outside it, and they can’t be traded or exchanged for money.
  • Prices on this website are in Philippine pesos. A GCash payment carries a ₱5 fee for checking the receipt, shown before you pay. Send exactly the total shown, from an account in your own name, and upload a true screenshot of the receipt. A receipt that is edited, used before, or doesn’t match the order is refused, and attempts to fool the check may lead to a ban.
  • When an item is yours: as soon as the payment is confirmed it unlocks on your account. If a payment can’t be confirmed, we tell you why on the payment page; if we can’t match it to your order, contact us with your receipt and we will sort it out.
  • Refunds: items work as soon as they unlock, so purchases on this website are final, except where the law says otherwise or something went wrong on our side (a double payment, an item that never arrived), which we put right. Purchases in the Android or Steam apps follow those stores’ refund rules.
  • We may change, rebalance or retire items and features. If we ever close a game, its paid items end with it.

Your content

Pictures and text you upload or post stay yours. You let us show them in the game to other players, and you confirm you have the right to share them. Payment receipts you upload are used only to confirm your payment.

Our games

Our games, their art, sounds and code belong to us or to the people who licensed them to us (credited in each game). Salpakan is a Filipino classic invented in 1970: we don’t claim the game itself, and we aren’t connected with its original makers or their trademarks.

Other companies’ names, such as GCash, PayPal, Google, Google Play, Android, Steam and GIPHY, belong to their owners. We use them only to say where our games are, how you can sign in and how you can pay, and we show a logo only where its owner asks us to (such as the Google sign-in button).

Credits for this website: the Fredoka and Lilita One fonts (SIL Open Font License 1.1); the trailer’s music, “Happy Adventure (Loop)” by TinyWorlds (CC0); some line icons are based on Feather (MIT License) and Lucide (ISC License). Every picture and video of our games is made from the games themselves.

Copyright complaints

Players can upload pictures (flags, banners, guild logos and profile photos). If you believe something in our games or on this website uses your work without permission, write to us through the support page with: what the work is, where you saw it (the player’s name, the guild or the page), your contact details, and a statement that you own the rights or act for the owner. We’ll take down anything that infringes, and accounts that keep uploading other people’s work will be closed.

Availability and liability

We work to keep our games and this website running, but we can’t promise they will always be available or free of bugs. As far as the law allows, they are provided “as is”, and we aren’t liable for indirect losses or lost data. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under consumer law where you live.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time: in the game under Settings → Delete account, or at https://dragonscalegames.digital/delete-account. We may close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we do, we will update the date at the top, and big changes will be announced in our games.
